Well the world hasn't ended yet, so how about an extra game? I figured out how to get this one working right in the middle of Sintaxmas, but it kinda sucks so I was going to save it for later. But for the apocalypse, why not?
It's called San Guo Wu Shang 5 (叁國無雙5) on the cart and, amazingly, "Bynasty Warriors Advance 5" on the title screen, but it's based on the engine from Sintax's port(?) of Dragonball: Advance Adventure, right down to the status bar still saying "Gokou". I blogged about it here a while back. (oh and don't be fooled by the GBA size cart, it's GBC through and through)

got another strategy game today - Super Robot War X (超級機器人大戰X). judging from the ID, this may have been Sintax's first game!
I have two versions of this game to release; the first was dumped from Qiezei's cart (the grey one) and the alt version was dumped from my own (the yellow one). I can't see any immediate differences in-game but the ROMs are definitely different.

Rawr! Here we have a game based, roughly, on the various Mega Drive Lion King games. Strangely it's named Jing Ling Wang III (精靈王III), which approximately translates to "Elf King III", but I have seen a cartridge for sale that actually used the "Lion King" title (in Chinese, 獅子王); maybe they changed it at some point to avoid any trouble with Disney?
Anyway, it's a pretty average platformer; the Simba sprite is a bit weird though. I also have three copies of this game, and only one of them works. Just saying, like. Quality. (The grey one came in the box pictured above, if anyone was wondering)

well this was kind of a last minute addition - I only just managed to get it working, like, two days ago, but it fit in pretty nicely with my plans to combine two of the upcoming games into one post. it's called Quan Ba Tian Xia (拳霸天下) and it's pretty much a King of Fighters game - I recorded a video of it a while back.
It's kind of weird - overall it's a pretty decent game, plenty of characters, even some unlockables (unlocked after you complete the game, and it saves them and everything) and a nicely done intro. But then on the other hand the only sound in the entire game is a single piece of ill-fitting stolen music, and the background glitches quite frequently during gameplay. It feels like it might have been unfinished, and Sintax just released it anyway. but still! worth playing.

yes I did save this game for the fifth day just so I could do that
anyway, I like this game! Its name is Zhi Huan Wang - Shou Bu Qu (指环王-首部曲) and it's kind of an action RPG type thing - reminds me of Zelda 2 or something like that.
